Thanks to careful planning already during its first construction phase (excavation works),
over 85% of the removed material was recovered and reused on the same construction site, significantly reducing the environmental impact of the build.

CMFG ARENA not only promotes the well-being of people through sport and physical activity,
but also commits to protecting the environment, making sustainability a priority in every aspect of its management.

The goal is to combine the quality of sports infrastructure with environmental responsibility,
adopting concrete solutions that allow waste to be reduced and available resources to be valued.

Every design choice has been oriented towards the creation of a sustainable sports facility,
capable of offering a modern, efficient and environmentally-conscious environment.
From the construction phase through to the daily management of the facilities, attention to environmental impact
represents a fundamental element of CMFG ARENA's philosophy.

Reduced energy consumption

To reduce energy consumption, the facility is equipped with solar panels, which contribute to covering part of the energy needs of the entire complex.

Furthermore, for the ice rinks, hockey skills areas and curling rinks, advanced technologies have been adopted to optimise refrigeration and maintain constant ice thickness, minimising energy expenditure without compromising the quality of the sports surfaces.

Energy efficiency represents one of the most important aspects in the daily management of the facility. Consumption monitoring and the use of technologically advanced systems allow the building's performance to be continuously improved, limiting emissions and optimising resource use. This approach allows comfort for users to be guaranteed while, at the same time, containing the environmental impact of sporting and recreational activities.
